Hand Forged Farrier Rasp Tomahawk/ Axe

Delivery Time

This tomahawk was forged from a Large Farrier rasp that was previously used for trimming horses's hooves. It was taken to near melting point, wrapped around and forge welded together. It was then hammered and ground to shape.

The handle is straight grained hickory and has a file-brand for improved grip. The handle is also stained and sealed with boiled linseed oil.

The sheath is made out of 7-8oz Veg-tanned leather and has been stamped and riveted.
